Option 2: Montserrat and Winery
First, Montserrat is a historical monastery perched atop a spectacular rocky mountain, home to a community of Benedictine monks and a renowned boys’ choir, one of the oldest in Europe.
The views are truly breathtaking!
We can visit the Basilica of the Monastery and even touch the Black Madonna
Then we will drive around one hour to the beautiful Penedès area, often referred to as the Catalan Tuscany. Here, we’ll visit one of the best wineries in the region and enjoy a delightful wine tasting experience.
Afterward, we’ll have a lovely lunch in the area before heading back to Barcelona around 4:30 PM.

After visiting the winery, we will drive to the charming coastal village of Sitges for lunch. And then we will take some time to stroll around the village. You will love it!

Then we will go to the factory where the Best Catalan chocolate is done. You will, of course, have some treats and the opportunity to buy directly there.
